EVENTS WERE held yesterday to mark the ninth anniversary of the killings of six people at Pathum Wanaram Temple in Bangkok during a crackdown on anti-government protesters by security forces in 2010.

EIGHT PEOPLE including Phayao Akhad – the mother of volunteer medic Kamonked Akhad who was shot dead at Pathum Wanaram temple during the 2010 political crackdown – were intercepted by police while joining the Walk for Justice near the temple yesterday, online news agency Prachatai reported.
